One of my new year's resolutions is to add more color to my wardrobe for spring. My mother once told me that I really need to inject some color into my wardrobe. I tend to lean towards anything black, white and gray. So, today I'm kicking off my weekly post that will cover the color trends for spring with the hope that it will inspire me (and you) to begin working the colors of the season into our ensembles.
During Fashion Week last September, designers such as Helmut Lang, Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg and Charlotte Ronson incorporated various shades of blue into their collections. The result – dresses, tops and skirts in sky blue, teal, navy and other tones inspired by the seaside landscape. Of course, this has me daydreaming of lounging by the beach already.
