Yesterday, over 750 participants in D.C. joined the fight against rare cancers at Cycle for Survival, the national, indoor team cycling event that raises money to fund rare cancer research.
Proven by yesterday’s success, Cycle for Survival is one of the fastest-growing athletic fundraising event and the only fundraising events dedicated to rare cancers as a whole.
To date, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $26 million. Antwaan Randle-El of the Redskins and Dr. David Solit, of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, were there to accept the check on behalf of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
