Describe your personal style:

My style definitely varies by my mood and how I'm feeling. Sometimes I like wearing all dark colors, other times I am head to toe in brights. Being from Washington, I was raised "preppy" so it tends to creep in, but I also like to mix in edgier elements to not look so put together or generic. I love the whole Gypset aesthetic but also like architectural and structured designs. I try to throw in unexpected pieces or something that you wouldn't expect to go together–lots of juxtaposition.

Who are your fashion icons?

Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Carrie Bradshaw, Leandra Medine (the Man Repeller), Diane Kruger, Olivia Palermo, Ashley Olsen, Miroslava Duma, Gwyneth Paltrow, Hanneli Mustaparta (to name a few).

What designers/labels do you love?

Sponsored
Face of the Week

Tibi, Alexander Wang, Diane Von Furstenberg, J. Brand jeans, Rag & Bone, Phillip Lim, Chanel, Jil Sander, Stella McCartney, Proenza Schouler, Chloe, Balenciaga, Prada.

Where are your favorite places to shop?

I'm a huge online shopper. Shopbop, My Theresa and Net-a-Porter are my favorite online websites. I try to buy things at full price as little as possible so I always scour department store outlets, eBay, TJ Maxx's Runway Section and the Outnet for designer items. l like J.Crew and Zara for more affordable basics.

What is your favorite trend this fall/winter?

Right now I am loving leather accents on clothes and military inspired looks. I usually am not one who gravitates towards a lot of prints, but I also really love the geometric patterns showing up on trousers and matching tops/jackets.

What is your favorite piece of clothing or accessory you own?

Hard to choose. I love the items my grandmothers and mom have passed down to me. I have a great fur coat from my grandmother that I love and a pair of costume jewelry earrings my mom gave me (actually I took them) that have a pear-shaped black stone surrounded by fake diamonds. The earrings are not very valuable but every time I wear them I instantly feel glamorous.
