Studio E Partners Meet the Artists Reception

Know The Artist, Know The Art

Two Bethesda businesswomen are making it easier for artists and collectors to connect. On Friday night at Chevy Chase Village Hall, area art collectors got the opportunity to connect with notable artists during a preview Art Showing & Meet the Artists reception hosted by the newly launched Studio E Partners.

This fall first cousins Edith Faulkner Graves and Elisabeth Owen Hayes opened Studio E Partners — an art gallery alternative that unites emerging and established artists from across the country, in a range of styles and media, with collectors who want to obtain their artwork. This celebratory event offered collectors and art appreciators personal connections with artists and opportunity to view their recent works.

Graves and Hayes have artistic genes in their blood. Graves is the daughter, and Elisabeth the niece, of the late Winthrop Faulkner, a prominent DC-area architect known for designing houses in the contemporary style.
