The Yellow Ribbon Fund's annual fundraising gala, Raising a Racquet for the Troops, was held on Saturday, September 29 at the Georgetown Prep Tennis Club.
Grand Slam champion Mats Wilander, NBC Meet the Press host David Gregory, NBC4 anchor Jim Handly, Gen. Stanley McChrystal and more helped raise thousands of dollars for injured troops.
One surprise highlight was a doubles match between two journalist-solider pairs: David Gregory and 1st Sergeant Jeremiah Gorsuch versus Jim Handly and Captain Mark Little.
