Redwood Oktoberfest Returning For Second Year

Redwood Restaurant and Bar (7121 Betehesda Lane) has announced the return of its outdoor Oktoberfest event after a successful first run last year.

About 1,300 came out to try craft beers and food from Bethesda Row restaurants, said Redwood’s Amanda Earley. Earley said the restaurant’s unique outdoor space (about 50 percent of the walkway on the posh Bethesda Lane belongs to Redwood) gave ownership the idea to create the event.

This year’s Oktoberfest is Sept. 22, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Regular admission (day of the event) is $25 and includes a mug and 10 tickets worth $20 of food and drink. A part of the proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
