The 60th running of the races benefiting The Yellow Ribbon Fund

Thousands came out to the races on Sunday, May 20 to enjoy the 60th running of the Potomac Hunt Races. The races celebrate the sport of steeplechase racing on the fields of the Kiplinger estate in Poolesville, Md.

Amidst the thrill of thundering hooves and soaring horses, race day festivities included mounted police demonstrations, a moon bounce, pony rides and wine tasting.

This year's races benefited The Yellow Ribbon Fund, which assists wounded service members during their recovery.
