Clarion Partners LLC announced today that H&M has signed a lease for a new 21,704-square-foot store at the Chevy Chase Pavilion, which is currently undergoing a renovation.
The store is set to open in October of this year, according to the press release, when the Pavilion’s $32 million makeover is complete.
The Sweden-based retailer who carries clothing for men, women and children, is best known for featuring the latest fashion trends and versions of designer clothing like Versace and Marni at accessible price points. H&M has over 200 stores in the U.S.
We currently have stores in MoCo at White Flint Mall in North Bethesda, Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg and a relatively new location that opened in December at Westfield Wheaton.
Clarion announced that this is only one of more “high-profile” retailers that they hope to attract to Chevy Chase Pavilion. We’ll keep you posted as more retail news develops.
