Bang & Olufsen is moving from Woodmont Avenue into the PeriPoint building on the corner of Wilson Lane and Old Georgetown Road.
Franchise owner Martin Chin says the PeriPoint location boasts more square footage (1,800 square feet) and modern architecture that correlates with Bang & Olufsen’s high-end audio/visual products.
Look for goodlies like a new 65-inch, thin 3D plasma TV ($20,000) and home automation systems that can be run off an iPad.
Michael Belisle, the building’s architect and owner, says there’s ample parking too—on Wilson Lane, in garages across the street and in the Bethesda Elementary Lot after 3:30 p.m. Chin is planning on opening in early April.

In case you haven’t noticed, Sports Extra on Old Georgetown Road is now carrying more women’s apparel.
When longtime employee Todd Bradley (aka T-Shirt Todd) and his wife, Heather, took over the store in January, they planned on making some changes.
Now you’ll find a good selection of women’s Under Armour as well as those popular Scout tote bags.
They’ve also expanded the screen-printing side to include custom shirts for events like bachelorette parties and bar/bat mitzvahs.
