Calorie-free with some Euro flair, the Netherlands based Sandwich is slated to open March 16 at Westfield Montgomery Mall.
Located on the upper level in the Nordstrom wing, promises a colorful mix of coordinating separates for women.
Think simple jersey dresses, linen jackets, drapey tunics, cardigans and feminine, ruched leggings–and, of course, denim.
Brought to Montgomery County by IK Retail Group, the same Washington D.C.-based company that brought both MaxMara and Piazza Sempione to The Collection at Chevy Chase, Sandwich has only one other U.S. location—a flagship store at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas.
Zeynep Akdogan, marketing manager of IK Retail Group, says that tops range from $49 to $125, with dresses about $115. I’m looking forward to see the new spring collection—a green and blue palette with feminine florals mixed in.
Judging from the website, the clothes look comfortable for every day—natural-fibers and knits—yet detailed and bright enough to be fashion-forward in the upcoming season of neon brights. There are five collections, including a dressier collection, Sandwich Special, Home and accessories (which includes shoes).
