Stephanie Nguyen Casey, a lawyer, originally from Potomac; and Ron Casey, a Pharmaceutical Development Manager, originally from Goldsboro, N.C. The couple now lives in Silver Spring.

The proposal
Ron surprised Stephanie with a spa day at the Mandarin Oriental. During her spa treatment, Ron was busy setting up a suite he booked for a romantic proposal. After Stephanie was done at the spa, she was taken to the suite. When the door opened to the suite, Ron was down on one knee. They then shared an "unforgettable" dinner at CityZen and spent the rest of the night calling friends and family.

What made it special
