Bethesda’s Taylor Gourmet celebrates first anniversary

Yes, there is such a thing as a free lunch (and dinner)

Lots of come-ons reach my cyber-desk, but this one seemed worth broadcasting.

In honor of Taylor Gourmet’s first year anniversary in Bethesda, the upscale, local sub chain founded by two Philly boys is offering patrons a free 6-inch hoagie of their choice, or a free pastina salad—today, Tuesday, December 20 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The restaurant will also be raffling off free hoagies for one whole year, a catered office party in Bethesda or Chevy Chase for up to 30 people, four tickets to a Washington Capitals home game—and one Bethesda parking ticket paid by Taylor Gourmet (“my personal favorite,” says the company’s Doug Rashid).
