"The one thing I must have in my closest is a killer pair of shoes (preferably platforms) because they instantly make vintage duds look new again— I went on a Jeffrey Campbell spree last year and am still recovering!"

"When my 75-year-old English professor gave me a lecture in front of the entire class on the proper way to mix and match "like a lady"— she didn't understand why I was wearing a nice blouse with cut-off jean shorts."
