Thousands gathered in downtown Bethesda this weekend for the 2011 Bethesda Row Arts Festival.
The festival transforms the Bethesda Row area into an outdoor art gallery featuring fine arts and crafts from 185 museum quality artists.
The annual event has served over 300,000 residents and visitors since its inception in 1997. Proceeds from the festival benefit the NIH Children's Charities, which include: The Children's Inn, Camp Fantastic/Special Love, Inc., and Friends of the Clinical Center.
