Snowimage, the purveyor of stylish down jackets and coats, is back in town.
The Russia-based pop-up shop opened Oct. 10 and will be on Woodmont Avenue through mid-February or March 1, depending on how long the cold weather lasts, says owner Mark Miller.
Snowimages’s down coats won’t make you feel like the Michelin man. The quilted jackets have a sleek European cut—and come in bold jewel tones—green and purple—with detachable fur collars.
You’ll also find plenty of styles in neutral tones and as well as the ever-popular black. Expect to pay anywhere from $295 to $1,050.

And, if you’re in the market for workout wear, you won’t want to miss the Apifeni trunk show Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Equinox gym in downtown Bethesda.
Apifeni is the brainchild of Potomac resident Danielle Dobin, who launched the business this summer.
What makes Apifeni pants different is a sneaky panel that hides that extra bit around the midsection. You’ll also find capris, tanks and cardigans in different styles and colors.
Dobin will be there both days from 9 a.m. to noon to help you find the perfect fit. Prices start at $45 for a sporty tank. www.apifeni.com.
