Get your rolling pins ready, as the Bethesda Central Farm Market is holding its second annual “Bake Bethesda a Pie” contest on Sunday, September 4. I co-judged last year’s competition, and it was a blast (tasting 27 pies for breakfast is my kind of morning).
This year, there will be a division for kids under 18, and for all age groups, sweet and savory pies will be judged separately. Contestants may bake up to a total of two pies.
