Check your thermometers. Washington Sports Clubs (WSC) has just unveiled a new August special to beat the heat. On days when the temperature tops 90 degrees, the club is opening its doors to the public (ages 18 and over) for a free workout. So while the dog days may be getting us down, they may also help us get fit. The fine print: The special is valid any time except between 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
