The North Face has plans to open a 5,000 square-foot-store on Bethesda Row—the only freestanding North Face store in Montgomery County. The North Face is most famous for its Denali fleece and down jackets seen on everyone from high school kids to their parents, and for its collection of outdoor gear and apparel.

Federal Realty Investment Trust reports that the store will take over the vacant spaces left by The Waygoose and The Papery on Bethesda Avenue.

Tanya Oliveira, store manager at Tyson’s Corner, says that the company is shooting for a November opening.
