Bryan Voltaggio, the former Top Chef finalist whose Volt restaurant in Frederick, Maryland is on every foodie’s must-eat-at list, has plans to open a new restaurant—at Chevy Chase Pavilion, of all places. The Washington Post’s Going Out Guide blog, which first reported the news, says that Voltaggio is working on a bistro specializing in steak. The restaurant will seat 220 and take up the second level of the mall. Look for a spring 2012 opening.
