Delhi Dhaba, the popular Indian restaurant on Bethesda Row, closed its doors last week after 18 years. Co-owner Paul Dumera says he decided to shutter the restaurant because the lease on the property had expired and “the new lease was too expensive for us.” Dumera says he has “no plans at moment” to re-open Delhi Dhaba in another location in Bethesda. The Delhi Dhaba locations on Connecticut Avenue in Washington and on Wilson Boulevard in Arlington will continue to operate.
