City Café & Caterers, a new café, carryout and catering operation, will open at the beginning of June on 7514 Wisconsin Ave. The restaurant, with seating for 20, will be a welcome and needed option for Bethesda breakfast-goers—it’ll offer six flavors of pancakes, egg wraps, oatmeal, omelets, pastries and more. For lunch, look for salads, sandwiches and Panini.
This is the second restaurant for Navjot Singh, owner of Café of India at 4909 Wisconsin Ave. NW. As for whether City Café will feature Indian specialties as well, Singh said, “No Indian. This is all American food.”
