I was shoveling around midnight last night when our neighbor pulled into his driveway. He told me that it had taken him more than eight hours to drive from downtown D.C. to Chevy Chase! When his wife came out to greet him, she said it had taken her nearly three hours to drive the three miles from her office in Bethesda.
Last night almost certainly will go down as one of the worst commutes ever in our area. We’d love to hear about your experiences. Misery loves company so please share your commuting nightmares.
