Wild Tomato, the new family-friendly restaurant from Persimmon owner and chef Damian Salvatore, at 7945 MacArthur Blvd. in Cabin John, will have a soft opening tonight, Friday, January 14. “Unless I foresee anything crazy, we should be open for dinner,” says Salvatore, who plans to be there cooking. There are still details to iron out, so it’ll be a casual, no-promises kind of opening. One thing for sure: the bar will be serving drinks.
