I kept eyeing the construction of Fresh Grill, a new restaurant at 4905 Fairmont Ave., hoping it would bring light and healthy food to Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle area. But then it opened—and it’s a hamburger joint! And a strange one at that: It has all the accoutrements of a bar (flat screen TVs, video game, beer and wine), but looks more like a sandwich carryout. To make matters worse, my mushroom-onion-zucchini-topped burger was greasy and cumbersome to eat, collapsing after a few bites into an unappetizing heap. What were they thinking?
Anybody been there?
