Thursday night was all about the Washington Capitals.

The hockey team clinched its first Stanley Cup championship with a victory against the Las Vegas Golden Knights, triggering celebrations across the D.C. region. In Montgomery County, fans flooded Bethesda Row and downtown Rockville with red jerseys and took to social media to share their joy.
